Heavy Stuff. This is about to get very seedy and disturbing.
But that’s the secret reality of countries where abortion is legal, normalised
and widely available. It has a rotten underbelly. But you can’t say anything
bad about liberal abortion regimes in today’s media for the reasons outlined
above. With no protection for unborn babies, Ireland could have her own Dr.
Gosnell and ‘Dr. X.’
Sometimes abortions fail and
babies are born alive. Canada had 491 live births (after abortions) from 2000 -
2009[i] In 2006, the UK had 66 bornalives. They do not
have to keep records now. I don’t know why. A woman who claimed she was coerced
into abortion at 21 weeks by her medical team (because of Down’s Syndrome) saw
her little one gasp for air. The baby lived for three hours.[ii]
Dr. Kermit Gosnell’s clinic in
Philadelphia was uninspected for 17 years because the politics of the Health
Department was concerned that inspection would be seen to ‘restrict access to
abortion’. Gosnell wasn’t skilled at injecting the foetal heart. (It is a skill
because the foetus tries to move away to avoid the sharp needle, just like any
living creature) Gosnell’s solution: he allowed the little ones to be born alive
and then severed the spinal cord at the neck with a scissors. He trained his
staff to do the same when he wasn’t there. He saw no difference between what
was legal and illegal, except where the baby was located. Inside or outside,
same baby. Two women in his clinic died through neglect, the place was filthy.
He was caught on a drugs bust. Then it all came out, but the media suppressed
the story, however two Irish journalists wrote a book and made a film about him.[iii]
It should be released soon, and available on DVD. I saw it at a special
screening. What shook the Jury when he was finally brought to trial was the
testimony of the ‘good’ abortion doctor the Defense brought in, when she coolly
described abortion procedures, live births and what she does about them. Most
of the pro-choice Jury changed their minds about abortion during the trial.
The media ignored the trial
of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, and when shamed into covering it by a photo showing all
the empty Press seats, dropped it very quickly. They have hardly mentioned it
since, even though abuses by other abortionists have come to light, and others
have appeared in court for malpractice. When the explosive Center for Medical
Progress undercover videos of Planned Parenthood were released, the media made
excuses, said that the tapes were ‘heavily edited’ (full tapes were made
available). The callousness with which doctors talked of manipulating little
bodies with graspers and forceps so as not to damage the organs required for (illegal)
sale, ‘you crush below, you crush above’ was nauseating and the media,
protecting abortion as always, buried the story after declaring that the videos
were suspect.[iv]
An interview with nurses from
a clinic run by Dr. X, (still practicing), described how a baby’s little fist grasped
one of the abortionist’s fingers before he killed the little one. This freaked

Australia, Italy and other
countries have had liveborns who lived for days. A child in Italy lived for
nearly two days and was discovered by the chaplain.

Could live births happen in
Ireland? Of
course. Will it be reported in the media? No, you are never allowed to have
that conversation. Something will surface once every ten years and nothing will
be done, the story will be dropped, there will be no radio shows about it,
Prime Time won’t go near it, and all will be forgotten. But what will happen to
those infants?
If you care, VOTE NO. This the last chance to keep these babies safe. It's a slick untruth to claim, as the Government does, that only non-viable babies will be aborted.
If the 8th is repealed, there will be abortion not just up to viability, but well after. Because it has happened like this in other countries. Why trust politicians? After repeal, they can do whatever they like.
